Ancient Israel
Our study of ancient Israel will be divided into two parts: The Origins of Israel, examining the accounts of Israel's origins as related in the Torah, and The Nation of Israel, which will emphasize Israel's transition from a tribal confederation to a nation under a united monarchy.
