Last week, the College Board announced that the 2020 AP European History exam will consist of a DBQ with five documents that will be scored based on a ten point rubric. On Monday, I shared a five document DBQ on the Renaissance with teachers so that students can get acquainted with the new format while studying the Renaissance (typically, AP Euro DBQs cover content starting at 1600 but the period from 1450 to 1600 is fair game this year).

Hey, Thanks for the DBQ, it was really helpful. How many more are you going to create? I can make DBQ's by using an old one and eliminating docs but I would appreciate your expertise!

Hey Tom. Currently in APUSH and was wondering if you can make a DBQ for it?

Will students be required to take 15 minutes to get organized before writing their essay? Or can they use whatever time they want to look over the documents and get organized?

Thanks for making the transition to a five document DBQ and a 10 point rubric a little easier.

Tom, I am very grateful for your help in revising your rubric and DBQ. I'm also curious if you plan on making another revised DBQ.

Thanks! These are great! Do you plan on adding sample essays for the APUSH prompts like you did for the Europe one? I appreciate all that you do!!
